Bolton manager Coyle fears sacking

03 December 2011 - 07:02

Bolton manager Owen Coyle admits that he is concerned he could eventually lose his job, but admitted he is fully focused on reversing the Trotters' fortunes.

  • Chelsea star wins PFA Young Player of the Year award
  • Chelsea midfielder won't join Premier League rivals

  • Bolton currently lie 18th in the Premier League and battling for their survival in the top flight.

"I think we all know the nature of football," said Coyle.

"This is the best league in the world but with global coverage comes intense scrutiny and a desire to stay in the league.

"We are never going to say it's fair but we understand how it works.

"It's something you have to deal with and take on the chin."
