A five points lead at the top of the table is all that separates Man City from city rivals Man Utd, but City could extend that lead to 8 points with a victory against Norwich today as United prepare for a tough late afternoon game at Aston Villa.
Manchester City have the benefit of two and a half hours to potentially enjoy an 8 point lead at the top of the league today, as Manchester United take on Aston Villa at Villa Park later on this evening.<br />
City are riding high this season and their form shows no signs of a slow down. City beat Arsenal at the Emirates during midweek, with the Citizens' youngsters fast chase down the Carling Cup for their silverware cupboard.<br />
City remain unbeaten this year in the Premier League, but Norwich have been making progress of their own as the newly promoted Canaries enjoy a comfortable 10th place in the league table.<br />
Norwich ended a four match streak of defeats with a 2-1 win over QPR last week, and look forward to building on that at the Etihad Stadium today; but their last win in Manchester - against both United and City - came way back in 1989.<br />
