Lazar Markovic proud of Chelsea interest

Partizan Belgrade's 17 year old youth striker Lazar Markovic wants to join Chelsea, and hopes that a deal can be agreed in the next few weeks. The youngster has recently been promoted to the first team.

Markovic revealed: "Chelsea is the place I want to play. I had all the pictures of the team on my wall at home back to when they had Gianfranco Zola.<br />

"And any time they are on TV I try to watch them. For me Chelsea are the best.<br />

"I want to go to the Premier League. It is the best league in the world."<br />

Chelsea scouts are monitoring the player in action and currently weighing up a 3m GBP offer.
