Lazar Markovic proud of Chelsea interest

Partizan Belgrade's 17 year old youth striker Lazar Markovic wants to join Chelsea, and hopes that a deal can be agreed in the next few weeks. The youngster has recently been promoted to the first team.

Markovic revealed: "Chelsea is the place I want to play. I had all the pictures of the team on my wall at home back to when they had Gianfranco Zola.


"And any time they are on TV I try to watch them. For me Chelsea are the best.


"I want to go to the Premier League. It is the best league in the world."


Chelsea scouts are monitoring the player in action and currently weighing up a 3m GBP offer.
