Real Madrid and Roma step up Walker pursuit

Real Madrid and Roma step up Walker pursuit

07 December 2011 - 05:17

Real Madrid and Roma are both on the verge of making a move for Tottenham defender Kyle Walker. The talented right back has forced his way into Spurs' first team this year, and Harry Redknapp is hoping to tie the England hopeful down to a new deal this month.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Roma scouts have been tracking Walker in the last three games, and the 9m GBP rated defender has also watched by Jose Mourinho's scout for Real Madrid.

Tottenham will rebuff any offer for the defender, who has forced Croatian defender Vedran Corluka onto the substitutes bench.
