Arsenal planning Sebastien Squillaci exit

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger wants to clear out his squad, and defender Sebastien Squillaci looks set to return to his homeland France. The former Sevilla defender has been linked with a move to PSG in January.

  • According to reports, Paris St Germain could make a cut price 1.5m GBP offer for the centre back, who has struggled to adjust to life in England and is currently the fourth choice centre back behind Laurent Koscielny, Thomas Vermaelen and Per Mertesacker.<br />

    Squillaci has struggled to show the form that persuaded Arsene Wenger to spend over 3m GBP on the centre back two years ago, and will now be allowed to return to his homeland for a reduced price.
