Tottenham supremo rules out January sales

15 December 2011 - 07:37

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy insists that none of Spurs' top players will be sold in the upcoming transfer window. Some of Europe's biggest clubs have been tracking Luka Modric and Gareth Bale, with Chelsea and Barcelona both interested in the talented midfielders.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • However, Daniel Levy wants to keep hold of his best men, and revealed that Spurs will not be putting on player on the market come January.<br />

Modric has been persistently linked with a move across London to Chelsea, and a deal was very nearly completed at the end of last summer. Likewise, Welsh winger Bale has been tracked by European champions Barcelona.<br />

But both players have a future at White Hart Lane, and Daniel Levy will keep both players despite the upcoming transfer window: <em>"We have a great squad with exceptional talent, </em><em>and none of the main players will be leaving in January."</em>
