Mancini rules out Tevez loan move

Mancini rules out Tevez loan move

20 December 2011 - 13:41

Man City manager Roberto Mancini has effectively ruled out AC Milan making a loan move for Argentine striker Carlos Tevez, after insisting that the former Man Utd and West Ham striker would only be sold to a club on a permanent basis.

  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • AC Milan's vice president Adriano Galliani is expected in England for talks on Thursday, and Man City have reportedly told the Italian side that the price tag for Tevez is 20m GBP.

However, Mancini will not entertain any loan offers for the player that helped City to FA Cup glory last year. Mancini quipped: "I hope we can find a good solution for us and Carlos. We want Carlos to come back and play football and the best solution for us is to sell him. We can't let him leave on loan.''
