Liverpool mull over move for Nikica Jelavic

23 December 2011 - 18:43

Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic has been linked with a shock move south of the border, as Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has reportedly instructed club scouts to prepare a dossier on the Croatian striker.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Everton, Fenerbahce and QPR are also interested in the 4m GBP rated frontman, but it appears that Liverpool are favourites to land the 6 foot 2 striker. The Reds are looking for a short term replacement for Luis Suarez, with the Uruguayan facing at least 8 games on the sidelines through suspension.<br />

Since arriving at Rangers from Rapid Vienna, Jelavic has fast become a terrace hero at Ibrox and this season alone the striker has scored 12 goals in 18 games in the Scottish Premier League.
