Tottenham's creative midfielder Rafael Van Der Vaart has officially ruled out a move away from White Hart Lane in January, insisting that he is more than happy at the club.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • There had been reports that the Dutchman had been growing increasingly frustrated at Spurs, who tend to play to attacking midfielder for shorter spells to protect his fitness. However, van der Vaart insists that his future remains with Spurs: "It's not true that I could be leaving in January. Of course there are rumors when you are third in the table and you play good football.

"People are always going to look and they are interested in the players of Tottenham, but this season nobody wants to leave - we are close to something special.

"Of course I want to stay here. Everybody feels that we have a great team and it is really fun to play here - we have big players, experienced players and Harry is doing a great job.
