Sir Alex Ferguson has denied that he will make a move for Frank Lampard. The Manchester United manager will not move for the Chelsea midfielder, despite a high profile falling out with Andre Villas-Boas.

The United boss dismissed reports that the England international will move to Old Trafford.<br />

"Do you really believe Chelsea will sell Lampard to Manchester United in January? There is no foundation to that," said Ferguson.<br />

"They want to try and win the league, and they need to hang on to their best players."&nbsp;
