QPR make 5m offer for Samba

07 January 2012 - 17:56

Queens Park Rangers have had a 5m GBP offer for Blackburn defender Christopher Samba rejected. The burly centre back is reportedly unhappy at Ewood Park, and representatives of the player are supposedly looking for a new club for the player.

 • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
 • Man Utd set to hold contract talks with experienced star
 • Samba has been a revelation since arriving at Blackburn, and has been persistently linked with a move away from Ewood Park. At one point, even Arsenal were interested in the defender.
According to several reports, Samba could be forced to stay at Blackburn as QPR's most recent offer of 5m GBP has been rejected.
Rangers - bankrolled by Malaysian tycoon Tony Fernandes - could make a renewed bid for Samba worth around 5.5m GBP in the coming few days.
