Chelsea defender Patrick van Aanholt has cut short his loan spell with Premier League strugglers Wigan. The Dutch defender has been recalled to Stamford Bridge.
The left back had been signed to a year long loan deal at the DW Stadium, but it appears that the player will be forced to return to Chelsea.<br />
The player said on his Twitter account: "Finally arrived back home want to thank all the Wigan fans that believed in me."
