Tottenham defender turned down PSG move

Tottenham defender William Gallas has revealed that he turned down a move back to his homeland to play with ambitious Paris St Germain. The former Arsenal and Chelsea star wanted to stay in London with his family.

  • &ldquo;I believe I can play on for another season and after that I will decide on USA or Qatar.<br />

    &ldquo;The MLS was interesting before and I spoke with Titi (Thierry Henry, who plays for New York Red Bulls) but I still wasn&rsquo;t sure. During this time, PSG made an offer, but I rejected it because of my family," said the versatile defender.<br />

    At the end of the season, Tottenham will evaluate the peformances and fitness of the French international and decide then if they wish to offer the player a new contract.
