Chelsea could make a shock move for Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic. QPR have also been linked with a move for the Croatian striker in this January transfer window. Rangers have valued the forward at approximately 7m GBP.
"Jelavic is a great goalscorer," said Chelsea manager Villas-Boas. "A player of his talent, with the right motivation at the right club, can continue to produce."
Chelsea are expected to part company with Didier Drogba this January, alongside Nicolas Anelka who has already quit Stamford Bridge for a move to Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua.
