Drogba locked in talks with Shanghai Shenhua

Didier Drogba is locked in talks with Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua. Chelsea have already reportedly told Drogba he is free to leave Stamford Bridge and the Chinese club have had a 7.5m GBP offer accepted.

  • Shanghai Shenhua are hopeful that they can agree terms with the Ivorian striker, and that they will pair the forward with his former team mate at Chelsea, Nicolas Anelka.<br />

    "Everything is going well so far though there have been a few obstacles. They never turned us down, which is good for us," said Shanghai chairman Zhu Jun.<br />

    The Blues have told Drogba that he is free to leave the club and they are on the look out for a replacement forward this month.
