Arsenal boss rules out Arshavin sale

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has no plans to sell Russian international midfielder Andrei Arshavin, despite the player reportedly telling his agent that he wants to leave the Emirates for a move back to his homeland.

Arsene Wenger already has mounting injury concerns and has no plans to sell the midfielder this month.<br />

Wenger said: "On top of our injuries, we cannot lose players of that quality. It is too difficult.<br />

"Sometimes the visual impression you get from a game has been frustrating, but he is very efficient.&nbsp;<br />

"We can all have a big responsibility but we need confidence for what we do."
