Manchester United striker Mame Biram Diouf will join French side Brest this week, as the Red Devils instruct the forward to find a club to join on loan until the end of the season.
Both Wigan and Hoffenheim have made contact with Man Utd for the striker, but were unable to match United's request to have Diouf's full contract paid for.
However, French side Brest appear to be ready to match the demands of United and are hoping to wrap up a move this week.
The player himself remains coy on suggestions that a deal is done with Brest, though.
"I have many contacts, but nothing is done yet," said Diouf.
