West Brom considering Pavlyuchenko move

West Brom considering Pavlyuchenko move

27 January 2012 - 05:36

West Brom have been linked with a sensational move for Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko, should their loan bid for VfB Stuttgart forward Pavel Pogrebnyak fall through. Pavlyuchenko's contract at Spurs has been extended for another year, but the Russian wants to quit White Hart Lane for a move elsewhere.

  • Pavlyuchenko has fallen down the pecking order at the Lane since the arrival of Emmanuel Adebayor, and it is understood that the player is keen to make a move elsewhere.

Tottenham are considering offers in the region of 6 million GBP, and WBA are believed to be in pole position to land the striker.

West Bromwich Albion's manager Roy Hodgson has been given a transfer fund of around 12 million to spend this month, and Pavlyuchenko is believed to be one of the names linked with a move to the Hawthorns.
