  • Even though Petr Cech is the current number 1 at Stamford Bridge, it appears that the Blues have signed Courtois as a long term replacment for the Czech international keeper.

Courtois will return to Stamford Bridge in the summer and the player hopes to move to another English club in order to fully understand life in England.

"I think that before going to Chelsea," Courtois told RTBF. "I have to play one or two years in another English team to discover the football played there. After that, we'll see if I am ready to move to Chelsea. It's hard to say now."
