Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has no plans to quit Stamford Bridge, despite reports of a possible link up with Nicolas Anelka at Shanghai Shenhua. The Ivory Coast international told the BBC that he wants to stay with the Blues.
The 33-year-old has been persistently linked with a move away from the Premier League, but his latest comments seem to rule out a transfer as Drogba looks to secure a new contract.
"I'm really happy where I am. I belong to Chelsea. For me, that's what matters," said Drogba.
"If I'm playing, if I'm not playing, it's the manager who decides and I have to respect that.
"Everyone knows I want to stay in blue and everybody knows I love the club and the fans."
