Wolves target Steve Bruce as new coach

Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey has confirmed today that the club have been in talks with several managers regarding the Molineux manager's job, but has yet to decide who will be the best candidate for the role.

  • Steve Bruce and Alan Curbishley are both the favourites to take the position, but nothing has been confirmed yet.<br />

    Moxey added: "Things are progressing. We are continuing to work to the timetable we indicated at the outset of this process and remain optimistic we will be able to fulfil those requirements."<br />

    Wolves are expected to announce their new manager next week.
