Spanish giants Barcelona are the latest team to have been linked with a move for Athletic Bilbao starlet Javi Martinez. The 23-year-old has been monitored by Roberto Mancini's side, and Barca could offer a massive 15 million package to secure his signature.

The 23-year-old has been in excellent form for Bilbao over the past two years, and has recently enjoyed international recognition for Spain, playing seven times for the national team.<br />

Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola has been told that he will have a transfer kitty of over 25 million GBP to spend in the summer, and Javi Martinez is reportedly on his shortlist.
