Romelu Lukaku set for Chelsea loan exit

Romelu Lukaku set for Chelsea loan exit

03 March 2012 - 03:29

Chelsea starlet Romelu Lukaku looks set to be heading for the Stamford Bridge exit door shortly, as the Belgium international eyes a loan move away from the club for more regular first team football.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • Lukaku has found his first team opportunities limited this year with the impressive form of Daniel Sturridge, who has partnered Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba up front.

But Lukaku wants more regular first team action, and will be heading out on loan in order to find it.

The player's agent, Christophe Henrotay, said: "It is clear that, if Romelu's situation stays the same, we have to search for a solution."

"Chelsea want to loan him to another Premier League team, preferably one in London, so they can follow his evolution."
