Gianluca Vialli has questioned the appointment of Roberto Di Matteo as temporary Chelsea manager, as reports were leaked from Stamford Bridge that Di Matteo is even more unpopular than Andre Villas-Boas.

"Personally I don't like it at all when the manager gets sacked and his assistant stays in charge. I thought they were a partnership," said Vialli.<br />

"Having said that, good luck to Roberto Di Matteo! Hope he can steady the ship."
