Loic Remy rules out Tottenham move talk

Loic Remy rules out Tottenham move talk

11 March 2012 - 13:04

Tottenham target Loic Remy has ruled out a move to North London anytime soon, as the French international striker remains focused on his current job at Olympique Marseille. Spurs have been tracking the striker for over three months.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • In January, Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp was spotted at a Marseille home game and watched Remy in action. But a deal could not be completed in the last transfer window, despite reports of an offer from Spurs.

For the time being though, Remy is happy to stay in Ligue 1 and said of a move to White Hart Lane: “For now it's not a reality. I spoke about it with president (Vincent Labrune) and Jose Anigo.

“Today, the fans really need me because we are in a delicate situation.

“My future? We will speak about it at the appropriate time.”
