Everton monitoring Maciej Sadlok

24 March 2012 - 06:16

Everton could make a surprise summer move for Maciej Sadlok, a Polish international centre back who is very highly rated in his homeland. The Polonia Warsaw defender would be available for £3.1m.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • The Toffees are in the market for a new centre back, as their efforts to sign AEK Athens defender Kostas Manolas fell through in the January transfer window.
According to reports, David Moyes has instead instructed his scouts to keep track of Polish starlet Maciej Sadlok, 22, who already has 14 caps for his country to his name.
The 6 foot 1 defender is expected to be a regular centre back for his country for many years, as current national team boss Franciszek Smuda has already partnered the defender alongside current first choice Marcin Wasilewski.
