Fabregas admits Real Madrid still favourites

Former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas admitted that Real Madrid still remain firm favourites to win the La Liga title this year, despite Cesc's Barcelona enjoying a 4-1 win over Real Zaragoza last night.

Lionel Messi was on hand to score his 60th goal of the season and close in on a global goalscoring record, but Messi's incredible form may not be enough to secure a league title for Barca.



Fabregas said on the club's official website: "They're still favourites to win it. We weren't expecting to be three points behind Real Madrid at this point in the competition, but there's a lot of Liga still left to be played."
