  • Caballero rose to fame in the recent Copa Libertadores by scoring the winner in a great second-half comeback by Libertad against Nacional. The 17-year old has already represented Paraguay at U-18 level and has been prolific at a the young age of fourteen scoring 27 goals in 24 appearances for Paraguay U-15 side.

Chelsea has been keen on signing the player and is supposed to be one of the many new signings for the future. Roberto di Matteo is reportedly identifying talented youngsters to strengthen the attack.

The Blues have not been firing on all the cylinders because of the lack of form of Torres and Malouda. The only player with venom upfront is still Didier Drogba who is getting old and reports suggest that the young Caballero would eventually replace the Ivory Coast legend.

Chelsea has a tough task ahead in solving the Torres crisis and bringing the young players like Lukaku and Sturridge in the forefront. The signing of £5million Caballero is supposed to start the 'teen revolution' in Stamford Bridge with more youngsters being added to the squad.
