Swansea City and Hoffenheim have agreed a £7.3 million package for the transfer of Icelandic international Gylfi Sigurdsson. The talented midfielder proved to be one of the stars of the Swans' Premier League campaign last year.
The 22-year-old moved from the Bundesliga side to Swansea in January this year on loan, and impressed with 7 goals in 16 games for the Welsh side.
His excellent displays attracted the interest of many other Premier League sides, with the likes of Arsenal and Aston Villa both keen on a move for the player.
However, Sigurdsson is believed to favour a return back to Wales, and will thrash out personal terms this week with manager Brendan Rodgers and his team.
