28 May 2012 - 01:18

Brazil and AC Milan defender Thiago Silva has no plans to quit the San Siro this summer, despite reports of some interest from Premier League champions Manchester City.

 • Juventus and Napoli enter race for Chelsea winger
 • Felix Nmecha linked with Chelsea move
 • Roberto Mancini is reportedly on the look out for a new partner for Vincent Kompany, as the Italian manager prepares for next season's Champions League, reportedly the club's next big target.
But AC Milan star Thiago will not move to the Etihad Stadium as he plans to stay there for the coming season.
I have been told that for Milan I am a fundamental part of the team and non-transferable," Silva said to the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Am I tempted to play in the Premier League or La Liga? Absolutely not. I am happy at Milan and I want to stay."
