Anderson happy to stay at Man Utd

10 November 2012 - 05:01

Manchester United midfielder Anderson wants to stay at Old Trafford, despite a perceived lack of first team football this year. Anderson has often been consigned to just substitutes appearances, and there had been talk of a move away from United.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • But the Brazilian midfielder wants to stay at Old Trafford for the time being and ruled out a move to Brazil or Portugal: "In Portugal, I have only ever played for Porto and if one day I came back, I would play for them.<br />

"But the return to Portuguese football is far from happening. United will not let me go and I will not put myself in that scenario."
