Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has approached Sporting Lisbon regarding a January loan move for Spanish youngster Jeffren Suarez.

The former Barcelona youth starlet has fallen out of favour at the Portuguese side, and Liverpool scouts have been tracking the player with regards to a winter transfer deal.



The 24-year-old joined Sporting Lisbon in 2011 and has so far enjoyed limited first team playing time, and is now desperate to move to the Premier League.
