Man Utd ready to ditch David de Gea?

07 January 2013 - 08:17

According to various reports, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to ditch Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea, and hit the January transfer window in search of a replacement.

  • Chelsea expected to sell striker after loan deal
  • Arsenal defender misses training ahead of Man Utd game

  • The Spaniard has struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League since completing his mega money switch from Atletico Madrid, and according to reports Barcelona are ready to make a cut price move for his services.

At times this season Sir Alex has opted to play Anders Lindegaard in goal instead of De Gea, as the Scotsman grows increasingly frustrated witha perceived lack of effort from the shot stopper.
