Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice in a 4-2 away win at Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday to make it three wins out of three for Man Utd in the Champions League. Wayne Rooney scored his seventh goal in six games as Man Utd keep up their impressive start to the campaign.
England defender Rio Ferdinand headed United in front from a Ryan Giggs freekick on 10 minutes and an unmarked Wayne Rooney doubled the lead with a simple tap-in eight minutes later.
Dynamo, having been outplayed for the opening half hour, got one back when Brazilian Diogo Rincon powerfully headed home Carlos Correa's corner 10 minutes before halftime.
But their joy was shortlived as Ronaldo headed home another Giggs cross to restore United's two-goal lead before the break.
Ronaldo grabbed his second from the penalty spot on 68 minutes after Goran Gavrancic had handled.
Ismael Bangoura pulled another back on 78 minutes but defeat leaves Kiev without a point from three games.
"Our attacking play was excellent tonight," United manager Alex Ferguson said. "We could have scored a lot of goals."
"There were some really good goals tonight, and we didn't want to be complacent and give them lots of possession," a delighted Wayne Rooney said after the game.
