Man Utd make last ditch bid for Victor Wanyama

ESPN reports that Manchester United are to make a last minute bid for Celtic defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama. Sir Alex Ferguson watched the Kenyan in action against Dundee United last week.

According to ESPN, Ferguson is so impressed with the performance of the player that he is to make a&nbsp;&pound;8 million bid this week.&nbsp;<br />

Wanyama has been in formidable form for his club so far this year, and Barcelona and Aston Villa have also been linked with the player.
