Manchester United's new manager David Moyes will make Penarol youngster Guillermo Valera his first signing. The 20-year-old full back can move from his current club if a team matches his $4 million valuation.
Valera spent a short trial period with Man Utd earlier in the year, and at the time the player said to reporters: "It was a surprise to get the chance to test with Manchester United. I’m glad and happy, and grateful to Penarol who allowed me to travel.
"I was treated so well and Chicharito [Javier Hernandez] helped me a lot. The work outs were short but very demanding."
