Borussia Dortmund are ready to make an offer for Arsenal's striker Lukas Podolski. The Germany international is being lined up as a replacement for Mario Gotze, who has joined bitter rivals Bayern Munich.
Podolski has had a relatively good first season at Arsenal, despite a perceived lack of playing time as he played second choice striker to Olivier Giroud for much of the year.<br />
Despite the forward telling reporters that he has no plans to quit the Emirates for a move elsewhere, we understand that his representatives are ready to engineer a move to Borussia Dortmund in time for the new season.<br />
The Gunners will not listen to any offers for Podolski unless a 20 million Euro price tag is matched.
