West Ham United will complete a signing for Real Betis' goalkeeper Adrian. The 26-year-old will join the Hammers on a two year contract and play as understudy to Jussi Jaaskelainen.

It appears that Sam Allardyce has beaten Espanyol and Getafe to the signature of the shot stopper. 



West Ham were believed to be interested to sign Shay Given, who is out of contract since being released at the end of the year, but will turn to the Spanish keeper instead.
