Swansea boss Laudrup ready for showdown talks

Swansea boss Laudrup ready for showdown talks

12 June 2013 - 08:26

Swansea boss Michael Laudrup is currently in Spain discussing his future with agent Bayram Tutumlu. The Dane has grown increasingly frustrated with the Swan's lack of ambition with regards to this transfer window.

  • Chelsea midfielder wants to play in Olympic games
  • Arsenal favourites to sign French winger ahead of Chelsea

  • Laudrup wanted to sign Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas for 10 million Euros, but the board blocked his attempts to bring in the player and capped his transfer spending to around 7.5 million Euros.

That has left Laudrup; who guided Swansea to their first ever major honour last season when they won the League Cup, very frustrated.

Laudrup is also being monitored closely by other teams in Europe on the lookout for new managers, and Paris St Germain are surprise candidates for the manager.
