Despite striker Bafetimbi Gomis telling his club Lyon that he he wanted to stay in France for the new season, the interest of three Premier League clubs have captured his attention.
Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has been scouring Europe for a new striker to partner Spanish forward Michu and, according to the Sunday Mirror, has decided Lyon's forward Gomis is the perfect match.
The French international had a wonderful season last year grabbing 16 goals in 34 games for his team.
Cardiff City have also been considering a bid for the 27-year-old frontman.
