Southampton miss out on trio of new signings

Ambitious Premier League side Southampton have missed out on three high profile signings. The Saints were hopeful that deals could be agreed for Radja Nainggolan, Pablo Osvaldo and Victor Wanyama.

Unfortunately for the Saints, Celtic have rejected the enquiry for Kenyan international Wanyama, whilst Nainggolan has told reporters he has no plan to move to Southampton. Pablo Osvaldo is also in discussions with other teams, including Juventus, regarding a potential move.



Southampton were hopeful that they could sign even more players to compliment the high profile signing of Croatian defender Dejan Lovren.
