Frankfurt to sign Arsenal misfit Nicklas Bendtner

German side Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed a fee with Arsenal for the transfer of Denmark international forward Nicklas Bendtner. The player spent last season on loan at Juventus and is not a part of Arsene Wenger's plans for the new year.

  • After almost 10 years with the London club, it appears that Bendtner is now ready to move on for pastures new. The Bundesliga club have agreed a fee of around 2.5 million Euros for the striker, who has scored 22 goals in 55 games for his country.

Arsenal are busy looking for a new striker - possibly Gonzalo Higuain from Real Madrid - and have already parted company with Andrey Arshavin this year. Marouane Chamakh is another player who looks set to be offloaded.
