Bayern Munich eyeing a move for David Luiz

The UEFA Champions League winners ,Bayern Munich have iterated their interest on Chelsea centre-back David Luiz.

Luiz's stay at Chelsea have been a matter of speculation in recent weeks as he showed interest in a move to the Ligue 1 champions PSG. The new Bayern Munich manager has now joined the race to capture his signature.<br />

The Bundesliga champions are planning to put up a bid of 35 million pounds inorder to entice the club to let go of their defender so that he could join fellow Brazilian Dante at the Allianz Arena.<br />

Luiz has brought alot of stability to the Chelsea defence last season as his team won both the Europa League as well as the FA cup. David Luiz also had a great Confederations Cup for Brazil who were crowned the Champions for a third consecutive time.<br />

Guardiola would be relishing the prospect of signing the centre-back who he missed out on when he was the manager of the Catalan giants Barcelona.<br />
