Bayern Munich eyeing a move for David Luiz

The UEFA Champions League winners ,Bayern Munich have iterated their interest on Chelsea centre-back David Luiz.

Luiz's stay at Chelsea have been a matter of speculation in recent weeks as he showed interest in a move to the Ligue 1 champions PSG. The new Bayern Munich manager has now joined the race to capture his signature.


The Bundesliga champions are planning to put up a bid of 35 million pounds inorder to entice the club to let go of their defender so that he could join fellow Brazilian Dante at the Allianz Arena.


Luiz has brought alot of stability to the Chelsea defence last season as his team won both the Europa League as well as the FA cup. David Luiz also had a great Confederations Cup for Brazil who were crowned the Champions for a third consecutive time.


Guardiola would be relishing the prospect of signing the centre-back who he missed out on when he was the manager of the Catalan giants Barcelona.
