Aston Villa striker Darren Bent fears that he will be be priced out of a move away from Villa Park. According to reports, the Birmingham-based club are asking for a fee of around £4 million for the forward.
Christian Benteke is now the preferred striker at the club, with Bent now second choice behind the Belgian upfront.
According to reports, Bent is being monitored by the likes of Aston Villa and even his former club Sunderland, but neither team is prepared to match the £4 million asking price.
Another stumbling block is Bent's reported £65,000 per week salary, which the striker wants matched at any future club.
