Lazio goalkeeper Marchetti rules out Arsenal move

Lazio shot stopper Federico Marchetti has denied that Premier League side Arsenal have made his club an offer for his signature. The Italian international, 30, had been linked with a move to the Emirates as Arsenal's new number 1.

With the sale of Vito Mannone to Sunderland, and Arsene Wenger unhappy with his current crop of goalkeepers, Federico Marchetti has been recently linked with a transfer.<br />

Despite that, the player has denied talk of an imminent transfer away.<br />

"I know nothing about Arsenal," Marchetti told Sky Sport Italia. "I'm having a holiday and only thinking about relaxing. And then there is the president, who knows what to do."
