Hull City no longer interested in Gary Hooper

Hull City have decided to end their pursuit of Celtic striker Gary Hooper. The English forward had been linked with a host of Premier League teams but Hull were believed to be in pole position to secure his signature.

The 25-year-old was amongst the potential forward signings for Steve Bruce's side, but a deal will not be pushed through this summer. Celtic's proposed move for Charlie Austin of Burnley has also fallen through.<br />

&ldquo;We had a bid for him rejected and I can&rsquo;t see there being any change in that,&rdquo; said Bruce, when asked about a move for Hooper.
