Juventus have been monitoring the Swansea City's star Michu for the past few weeks and are now set to start the bidding process.

The Swans now face a fresh challenge in the quest of keeping their Spaniard superstar with the Serie A champions showing their interest.<br />

After the completion of the signing of Carlos Tevez from Manchester City, the turin side are ready to test the Welsh club's resolve over the Spaniard.<br />

Michu joined the Welsh side from Rayo Vallecano for a fee of&nbsp;&pound;2m last summer which was a big bargain considering his top class performances throughout the Premier League season,<br />

He notched up 18 goals in the Premier League and helped the Swan's lift the Capital One cup. He penned a new 4 year deal at the Welsh Club in January to sway away any interest from elsewhere.<br />

However, Juventus may pose as an alluring prospect for Michu as they could guarantee the forward, a starting place in a squad which is bolstering with talent.
