14 July 2013 - 19:04

  • The Dane has just a year left on his present contract at the Amsterdam Arena and Liverpool are reportedly the favourites to land the playmaker.

De Boer has revealed that he holds nothing against the 21-year-old, whose prospects of leaving for Anfield are strong.

The Dutchman, in his interview said, "It is up to Christian what he wants”

"If he feels good going to Liverpool, then it is up to him. I would want nothing more than having him with us for a few more years.

"But we realise the interest in this kind of player is huge. And I can also understand that he wants to make another step in his career. I can't stop him."
